As a photographer myself, I understand how important it is to be authentic to the original shot as creative layers and enhancements are applied to a shot. The agencies and photographers I work with value my critical observations, my meticulous attention to detail and my inherent understanding of the aesthetics of photography. For automotive projects, I can remove or add reflections, amend colours, mould lighting as well as compositing the more technical car exteriors or interiors from various photographs or CGI renders, and layer these elements to create the desired composition. Having worked with nearly all the major car companies and their agencies, I like to think I have tackled practically every technical retouching issue but I’m always up for a new challenge – do go ahead and try me! A lot of my experience has been in the automotive sector and whilst I wouldn’t describe myself as a car buff, in many ways this is an advantage as I approach each project with an objectivity that allows me to interpret the creative vision and address technical matters in a straightforward manner.
